COOPVAMA was formed by a union of coffee producers on Dec. 28, 2008. Today, 283 farmers have an extension of more than 660 hectares of coffee with organic certification, Fair and sustainable trade. This yields more than 10 thousand quintals of coffee per year. COOPVAMA started exporting in 2011 to the US and their market has expanded into Belgium, Canada and Germany.
